This Privacy Policy explains how Pauseture Corp ("Pauseture," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use the Pauseture mobile app, visit pauseture.com, or contact us. Pauseture offers audio Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® lessons. It is movement education, not a medical service.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Account information: your email address, name, and login details, including if you sign in with [Apple or Google].
• Onboarding and preferences: answers you give during onboarding, such as your goals for using Pauseture, and settings like playback speed and filters.
• Messages to us: what you send when you email us, respond to a survey, or leave feedback.

Information collected automatically

• App activity: lessons you start, finish and favorite, listening time, series progress, and features you use.
• Device information: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and device or advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA, only if you allow tracking, or Google's advertising ID).
• Website activity: pages you visit on pauseture.com, how you got there, and interactions, collected through cookies and similar tools. See our Cookies Policy.
• Approximate location: your general region, estimated from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Information from others

• App stores: Apple and Google tell us about your subscription status, such as trial start, renewal or cancellation. They process your payment. We never see your full card details.
• Advertising and attribution partners: if you came to Pauseture through an ad, partners may tell us which ad or campaign led to your install or subscription.

2. How We Use Information

• To run Pauseture: create and manage your account, play lessons, track your progress, and check your subscription status.
• To personalize your experience: recommend lessons and series based on your goals and what you've listened to.
• To communicate with you: send account and subscription emails, welcome and reminder emails, newsletters, and push notifications you've allowed.
• To improve Pauseture: understand which lessons and features people use, fix bugs, and plan new content.
• To market Pauseture: measure which ads and campaigns bring people to Pauseture, and show Pauseture ads to people who might benefit from it (see section 4).
• To keep things secure and legal: prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use onboarding goals or lesson history about pain, stress or other wellbeing topics to target ads.

3. Service Providers We Use

We share personal information with companies that help us run Pauseture. They may use it only to provide their service to us, except where noted in section 4.

We may also share information with our advisors (such as lawyers and accountants), with authorities when the law requires it, and with a buyer or successor if Pauseture is sold or merged. That buyer would be bound by this policy.

4. Advertising, Cookies and Your Choices

We advertise Pauseture on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google and the App Store. To measure and improve those ads, our advertising partners (Meta, Google, Apple and AppsFlyer) may receive device identifiers and events such as "installed the app," "started a trial" or "subscribed." They may combine this with information they already have to show ads to you or to similar audiences. Their use of this information is governed by their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some U.S. state laws, sharing data for targeted advertising may be called "selling" or "sharing," and you can opt out.

Your choices

• iPhone: Pauseture asks before tracking you across other companies' apps. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
• Website: you can manage cookies through our cookie controls or your browser. See our Cookies Policy.
• Global Privacy Control: we honor the GPC signal on our website as an opt-out of targeted advertising for that browser.
• Any device: email support@pauseture.com with "Do not sell or share" and we will stop sharing your information for targeted advertising.
• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We'll still send account and subscription emails.
• Push notifications: turn them off in your device settings.

We don't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within [30] days. We may keep limited records longer when the law requires it, for example for tax or fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.

You can delete your account in the app under [Settings > Account > Delete account] or by emailing support@pauseture.com. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that in your app store settings.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, such as encryption in transit and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. International Users

Pauseture is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. If you use Pauseture from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to the U.S. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses included in our providers' terms.

8. Children

Pauseture is not intended for anyone under [16]. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@pauseture.com and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including California, other U.S. states, the EU and the UK, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have about you and get a copy
• correct information that's wrong
• delete your information
• opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of your information
• withdraw consent you've given us, such as for marketing emails
• object to or restrict certain processing (EU/UK)

To make a request, email support@pauseture.com. We'll verify your identity by confirming the email address on your account, and respond within the time the law requires (usually 30 to 45 days). You can use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

If you're in the EU or UK, we process your information to provide the service you signed up for (contract), for our legitimate interests in running and improving Pauseture, or with your consent. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this policy when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
